We went to La Jolla Cove today and I saw what I intrepreted was "proposal" setting. I watched and sure enough, it was. I snapped a few photos for them and the couple was happy that I took them since they had no camera. Interesting no?
I gave him my email and he probably will buy some photos from us.
Life goes by so fast...need to take a few seconds to write down and remember experiences that make me the person I am. 
Buying Used Computer
I got an email from my work. The HQ is based in Norfolk (they pay my contract), and they want my old pc as-is because it has all my coding and configuration. The person tasked with taking over my position is not "up-to-speed," according to them.

Jury Duty Leads To Job
Last day of jury duty and I head over to FISC to have lunch with my friend. He tells me they are looking for someone for a project. I meet the director, and interview right then and there. I start Tuesday.
The plan is to ride the trolley into work and back, and that the kids can be safer in my truck. I can read or listen to my walkman. Or, sleep - probably not.

No longer together
I broke-up with my gf today. I told her in her bedroom and she wouldn't stop crying. Her brothers and sisters gave me the evil look but I didn't say anything. She asked me if it was because I didn't love her, then if it was because I found someone else, then if it was because she wasn't as smart, then she wondered if it was because it was my mom.
She called tonight almost within minutes of me getting home. I didn't know what to say. I know I'll see her tomorrow around campus again I wonder if I made the right decision.

New Volleyball Partner
Coach Daniels formed permanent teams today. He placed experienced players with new players to create even teams. There's a new girl and I asked the coach if he could pair us up. Of course, he didn't make it obvious and looked around for a bit and then said, "Hey Sam, why don't you and L.R.A, go over to court one and warm up." I owe him big time, I'll make a BW print of him serving the ball, it looks awesome.
I haven't decided what I'm getting my gf for her birthday, maybe the necklace. I'm going to ask her sister to wrap it for me since I can't wrap worth [BEEP]

First Day Of Work
Today was my first day of work and arrived at 7:22 a.m. because that's when the trolley drops me off. So far, all that happened was that I got my badge and my "cardkey," and a place to sit.
I don't know a single soul here and feel completely out of place. It's old - an old naval base building, like you see in the movies,everything is. I'm the youngest person here by far. I met the other programmers and they're mcuh older, maybe in their late twenties.
I wonder if I made the right decision to take this scholarship. I felt sooo sleepy today around 2:00. I work from 7:30 to 4:00, with a measly 30 minute lunch. Luckily my girlfriend brought a nice lunch and we ate on the pier.
I have something planned for my first paycheck. First, give my mom some money, then take my girlfriend out to a nice restaurant to celebrate. I found a necklace for her that I hope she'll like.

I have a girlfriend since she said, 'yes.' I grabbed her hand and wrote, "Will you be my girlfriend?" She grinned and got my hand and wrote, "Yes!" and told me not to wash it. How silly can we get?
